The platform

NorthWatch: the fuzed picture, live.

NorthWatch is our hazard operations console for Canada — the x-Fuze fusion discipline running as software. Live public feeds become one operating picture an operator can actually work: layered, searchable, and honest about its sources.

Critical infrastructure, one picture

Power transmission, gas pipelines, railways, data centres, and municipal boundaries fuzed over Eastern Ontario — with an active alert zone highlighted around Ottawa.

The common operating picture

The full layer stack: societal events, sensors, and environmental hazards — 750 live hazard events on screen, feeds self-tested continuously.

Wildfire operations

One click to a wildfire posture: fire stations, camera heat clusters, hazard severity, and population context for the fire line.

Infrastructure & cyber layers

The infrastructure preset with its legend: clinics, hydro transmission, pipelines, railways, airports, data centres, and cyber assets by type.

Live traffic & road conditions

Live Waze incidents fuzed with 1,600+ provincial 511 events — closures, construction, crashes — beside 3,000+ traffic cameras.

Under the hood

Fusion discipline, running as software.

Live multi-source fusion

Weather, wildfire, seismic, traffic, infrastructure, and cyber feeds — over a dozen live public sources correlated into a single map, refreshed continuously.

Operational presets

Severe weather, wildfire ops, infrastructure, traffic: one click swaps the whole layer stack to the posture the situation demands.

Risk alerting

Dynamic and predictive risk assessment raise alert zones around developing situations — before they become headlines.

Interoperable by design

Cursor-on-Target export feeds TAK ecosystems like WinTAK, so the fuzed picture travels to the teams already in the field.

Self-testing pipeline

Every feed is health-checked around the clock — the console shows 24/24 self-tests passing, and degraded sources are flagged, not hidden.

Built for the operator

Dark, light, and satellite basemaps, 2D and 3D cameras, search, and a legend that always tells you what you’re looking at.

The feeds, by name — sourcing is the product

  • ECCC · weather alerts
  • CWFIS · NRCan · wildfire hotspots
  • NASA FIRMS & EONET · thermal anomalies & events
  • USGS & EMSC · earthquakes
  • GDACS · global disaster alerts
  • UN OCHA · humanitarian updates
  • Waze for Cities · live incidents
  • Provincial 511 · closures & construction
  • Highway cameras · 3,000+ live views
  • OpenStreetMap · infrastructure & facility layers
  • OpenSky Network · air traffic
  • Open-Meteo · wind & forecast

All open, public sources — collected with respect for their stewards’ terms, and credited because verifiable sourcing is the whole point.
